Solar Project for Testing Feasibility.
From my youth, I was facinated about free electricity from Solar Pannels. I had used small pannels for small projects, but it was only for LED lighting when Power Goes off.
I got the inspiration for solar project from our sun. Every Morning the sun Rises on My Face and earlier i liked it. But Later got bored and thought of blocking the sun during Morning Time. Immidiately the Solar Pannel Blocking the sun came to my Mind. When funds came, i bought 2 Panels from Waree to test. I did not want to block the Sun completely so one pannel was attached for Blocking sun, and other Below till chajja for Viewing outside. You can see Pictures below. These are 405W WAAREE panels that you get on Amazon.

After installing 2 pannels.
Inverter Requirements:
After installing pannels, I started to worry about the inverter requirements.
My Main issue was Powering Air Conditioning through Batteries. By watching Multiple Youtube Videos and Available knowledge, i went for a 6.2 KWH Hybrid Inverted, with MPPT charger.
I looked in indian markets, but the cost was too much, so decided to go with Chinese Made one. I checked a few videos where people have actually used this invetrer and were successful. So i Ordered one 6.2 KWH single phase hybrid inverted, at Half the Cost including Import tarrifs.
The inverter can switch Atomatically from Grid to Battery/Solar when enough battery is charged. It can Move back to Grid + Solar when not enough battery is available. If excess Solar is available, it will power the Home with Solar and also Charge the Battery with Solar at the same time.
Battery Requirement.
My goal was to make a 48 Volts 100 AH Battery as Lower Voltages have Losses, and also need Thicker Cables.
Intitallally i planned for 48 Volt LIPO Battery = 48V 100 AH = 4800 Watts per Hour = 4.8 units of electricity storage.
But after learning online that 51V LIPO battery will cost me similar and have more power. So i went with :
51V 100 AH = 5100 Watts per Hour = 5.1 units.

BMS and Balancer.
By this time i was out of funds, so decided to buy Daly 100 Amps 16S BMS. 250 Amp 16S would have been appropriate. The Daly 100 Amps 16S BMS also has inbuilt balancer, hence a seperate Balancer was not bought due to financial burdon. Seperate Balancer is always required for unattanded use of battries.
Issues Faced - Due to Budget Constraints:
1] Solar Panels : I could install only 2 x 405 watts = 910 Watts Max. Also Due to Keeping Solar Panel Vertical, it makes Less power. I will need 4 More Panels to come near Zero Electric consumption. It takes me 3 days to fully charge my 5.1 KWH battery.
2] BMS: I bought Cheapest one available 100 AH Daly BMS. A big 250 Amp BMS with Active Balancing Circuit would have been lot better for Battries.
Total cost for project : 1,15,000
